Two weeks ago today I stood on the grounds of Hayground School in tears...for the complete and utter appreciation of having such an incredible community supporting Debajo de Las Palmas DR and what we are working so hard to accomplish. Our Second Annual Family Picnic Benefit was a huge success thank you to all of our sponsors, supporters and attendees.
As I looked out over the crowds of smiling faces, many painted by the amazing April of Now That’s Funny, sponsored by Love Your Life Coastal ... dancing feet to the beat of Mambo Loco, sponsored by Fenelon Landscapes and DJ Biggie, or the turntables.... and to the families laughing and playing while enjoying their picnics.... it was all exactly as it was meant to be.
We, at Debajo De Las Palmas, are coming together and growing as an amazing team of families and volunteers to help so many living in extreme poverty, look to a brighter future! We don’t do it for a pay check... we do it to save lives, make children and families healthier and happier, and to bring them all sustainability, health and happiness, and we will continue to strive for better and work hard for many years to come.
